Cruise lovers take notice: reservations are now being accepted for the newest kid on the cruising block.

carnival dreamCarnival is proud to announce that the Carnival Dream will be ready to set sail in September of 2009. It is said to be the largest floating “resort” in Carnival’s fleet of “Fun Ships.”

Dream Features

The Carnival Dream, when construction is complete, will boast a wide variety of new features. Carnival Waterworks, The Piazza for entertainment and dining pleasures, a huge spa, and more categories to choose from as to cabins and staterooms as well as even more space for outdoor decks, are just some of the Carnival Dream’s highlights.

What Ports Will the Dream Visit?

After cruising the Mediterranean and Europe, the Dream will cross the Atlantic before resuming her regular schedule.

While she is still in Europe, passengers on the early voyages will enjoy visiting exotic ports such as Barcelona, Spain, Rome, Italy and Monaco.

Fun & Fantastic

Carnival prides themselves on providing passengers a “fun ship” and the new Carnival Dream will provide more fun and the room to have fun. The Carnival Dream is the size of at least 3 football fields.

Her staterooms provide over half their number for views of the vast ocean landscape and most of the ocean view cabins offer extra living space with a private balcony to sit, relax and drink in the beauty laid out before them.

WaterWorks and Outdoor Activities

Families can enjoy splashing about on the ship in the new WaterWorks aqua park. It features an 82 foot waterslide among other great water toys for kids and adults alike.

New wrap around promenades outdoors will give passengers a lengthier walk in order to work off those pounds instead of having to visit the gym. The Dance Club will have an outdoor deck and a special touch is the scenic, overhanging Jacuzzis.

Her Maiden Voyage

Plans for the dream to set sail from Rome on September 21st, 2009 for a Mediterranean adventure will include 7 magnificent ports on a 12 day sailing.

She will then offer two more Grand Mediterranean cruises before she sets sail for New York on a trans-Atlantic crossing to last 16 days. Her ultimate home port will be Port Canaveral in Florida where she will be proud to host Caribbean cruises year round beginning on December 5th, 2009.

So if you are a cruise aficionado, be sure to make your reservations for Carnival’s newest “Dream.” Cruising has never been so good!
