Themed cruises vary greatly from one to another. Most people assume that cruises aimed at families with children are themed by their very nature.
However, you can get themed cruises that are subtle, that are loud or are purely for adults.

Disney Dream
Disney’s ships would be the first to come to mind if you were considering a themed cruise. Disney has quite possibly the best range of cruise ships
to choose from if you are taking your kids away and you are looking to have as much fun as possible during the holiday.
The Disney Dream is the third cruise ship that has been launched by the company, following the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder. It has 14
decks, hosting 1,250 staterooms and is designed in the fashion of early 20th century liners.
There’s a 3D cinema on board, along with a nightclub, karaoke, live music, teen centres, sports, all kinds of gourmet restaurants and more. It even
has the AquaDuck, which is the world’s first water-slide over the open sea.
P&O Cruises present Russell Watson-themed cruise
P&O Cruises’ flagships, the Azura and Aurora, will host Russell Watson next year in 2013 for three- and four-night cruises.
Watson rose to fame in 1999 with a string or rousing performances at some of Europe’s major sporting events. He kept fans entertained prior to the
kick-off at the famous Champions League final between Manchester United and Bayern Munich in Barcelona – before releasing his first album, The
Voice, in 2001.
The former factory worker from Salford has released nine albums, three of which went platinum, and has had to overcome cancer twice in recent years. His dulcet tones will soothe you while you enjoy the sights of Bruges, Brussels and Ghent.
P&O’s Murder Mystery Cruise
If you’re looking for something a little more grown-up, you should definitely try the Murder Mystery Cruise which takes place aboard P&O’s
Arcadia ship. The theme is that of a 1920s murder mystery, accompanied by all the usual luxurious accommodation and cuisine that the Arcadia
provides.
Fancy dress to fit the period is optional, but all passengers will be invited to try and solve the mystery on the high seas. It’s extremely fun and definitely more intense than the usual cruise affair.
Expect actors to intermingle with the other passengers too!
