25 Stunning Pictures Of Bora Bora – Most Beautiful Island on the Planet

Bora – Unquestionably the most mythical of the Pacific islands remains the island of all dreams.
The legends, mysteries, and romance associated with the words “Bora Bora” bring an almost mystical presence to the island. The island, located about 230 kilometres northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef.
Bora Bora is predestined for snorkeling and scuba diving in and around its lagoon.
Made famous by books, movies, and its stunning beauty, the island is now besieged by tourism and overcrowding. Regardless, if you must visit a South Pacific island (and you should), Bora Bora would be an excellent choice.
Here are 25 Stunning Pictures of Bora Bora…

What a beautiful place. I will have to visit the island someday.
I wanna go,I wanna go,I wanna go it’s just not fair!!
i want to live here!
Beautiful… theses pictures just exude serenity.
*sigh*
So… cool i want go there
Wow, simply incredible photos! And the water looks magnificent!
Ow my eyes!!!
A little restraint with the saturation slider…
For the love of god!!!
Water is so clear you can see how hungry those sharks are. Ouch. Every form of refuge has its price. Only for the filthy rich.
Lucky turtle
My wallet does not look fat enough, but I’d love to go there.
So when people living in those huts over the water take a dump or a leak, where does it go?
Was there is December . . .
Want to retire there!
those photos are not oversaturated, that is how it really looks!
Breathtaking!

Bora Bora is awesome. If you get the chance to go, rent a small boat with an outboard motor and circle the island (not that big). We were just in awe of the beauty all around us.
Simply amazing…
I was there in 1987, and my cousin still lives there after so many years. Yeah, looks great in pix. Very hot, very, very boring, unless you love snorkling and scuba diving (I did a lot of both in my younger years). Now the place is pretty crowded, once only for pedestrians and bicycles, you get the risk of getting hurt by a 4×4 and even trucks. In any case, good if you are in good company, a real bore after a few days. My cousin still loves the place though.
Yeah, but I wouldn’t get on with the rich people who would be in the hut next to me, or in the restaurant at night! Give me a mild damp day in Torquay any day!
Not really for the filthy rich. my wife and I went and we just ordinary folks. cost about $3,000 for one week
So beautiful, I want to visit this island…..I must visit……I just can resist……
OH MY GOD.WHAT A PLACE.
Wow! Fantastic pictures. How is the night life though?
wonderful photos, but the surfers in the photos do not have waves…
It looks amazing! I’m dying to go!
Rolando, you said it was $3,000 for a week. Does that cover 1 or 2 people?
The diving and snorkling looks incredible! Do the huts there have a glass bottom so you can see the ocean while inside?
Oh… ha, and how’s the internet connection? wifi? =P

Bora Bora, una de las islas más hermosas del planeta…
Galería fotográfica de uno de los lugares más hermosos en la tierra, este atolón llamado Bora Bora resulta un lugar impresionante y con mucha naturaleza….
omfg, i have to visit this place
This is simply amazing, There is no doubt that it is a natural island but it looks artificially made, like reclaimed land. It certainly is the dream destination of everyone from lovey-dovey couples in love to junkies. It must be bomb-expensive to have a vacation on this island.
what a gorgeous place! since we love scuba, i think it would be a perfect family vacation! i wonder how the food is…
wish i lived there….
impresionante, espero ir algun día.

wow wonderful and beautiful.alam ciptaan Tuhan
It certainly is a paradise on earth, and it got a funny and unique name..
One day, I’ll go there!!..
;D
Yes, it is beautiful. And humans will spoil it. Look at the comments so far. I rest my case.
STAY AWAY! We have ruined most of the planet and maybe (because of Global Heating) the ENTIRE planet. Let’s save a little bit of the planet for the millions of other species that we share this planet with.
I want to go here!!

Its looks stunning! It makes me want to go there right away.
ooooooooooooo
love it
i need a break
i wanna be here
So amazing…
Would love to go there….
those are wonderfuly photos
on the list for sure.
It is expensive to stay on the island, but try a cruise. These pictures show the water exactly as it is, with more abundant sea life. Snorkeling is perfect. Since Bora Bora is surrounded by a natural breakwater, there is no surf inside…but outside the ring, there is!
Eden was made like this; God made cities because of human sin. One day Heaven will compete with Bora Bora & like places.
Looks so relaxing!!!!
Looks so inviting!!
Those really are great pictures however there is one thing plaguing me: Why are there guys holding surf boards whilst standing on reef/rock when there is absolutely no swell nearby? It just doesn’t seem to make sense…
2nd best place after my home i love this place wow !!!
I Enjoy your blog
