1. The St. Lawrence Market

The market is made up of two historic buildings that sell fresh produce and wonderful antiques. One of the buildings hosts flea markets every week as well as a farmer’s market and the other consists of numerous restaurants, delis, meat shops, and bakeries. It’s also home to an interesting art gallery.

2. Casa Loma

This is one of the city’s main tourist attractions and was formerly the biggest privately-owned home in the country as it has 98 rooms.

3. Chinatown:

Many of the world’s greatest cities have a Chinatown and Toronto’s no exception. There are actually half a dozen Chinatown areas in the city with the largest being downtown at Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street West. You’ll be able to find all sorts of things here, such as restaurants, markets, and affordable clothing.

4. The CN Tower:

This is the tallest freestanding structure in the world and it offers spectacular views of the city and southern Ontario. The tower also has over 1,300 LED lights for amazing nightly light shows.

5. The Toronto Zoo:

Toronto’s zoo is the third largest in the world as it’s 710 acres in size. The zoo has six sections and is home to over 16,000 animals.
