While the weather might be getting a little cooler along the North Sea in England in September, the Bathing Beauties Festival 2010 is sure to heat things up.

The event is billed as Europe’s Longest Coastal Arts Festival as it stretches over five miles. It will be taking place from Sept 17th – Sept 19th 2010, in the towns of Mablethorpe and Sutton, on Sea, on the Lincolnshire coast on the east of England.

The Bathing Beauties Festival celebrates the unique Culture, History, Architecture, and beauty of the coastline and its towns.

The festival fills the colourful beaches and beach huts with an interesting variety of Music, Artistic Splendour, Poetry, Performances, And Film and Drama to provide a unique and unforgettable celebration for people of all ages.

This will be the fourth annual Festival of Bathing Beauties, which promises to be just as dynamic and unique as the last three. The event cleverly utilizes the coastal environment and landscape as the canvas for the innovative arts and cultural festival.

The coastal landscape, beach huts, and boardwalk all come alive during the festival as the huts are transformed into mini theatres, arts and craft exhibitions, puppet workshops, and photo galleries.

This year’s event will feature a parade and fire procession on the Saturday night that will present an exciting display of pyrotechnics and fire. The event is a great way to enjoy the area’s music, dance, tradition, visual arts, sculpture, literature, and poetry etc.
