County Limerick in Ireland is filled with attractive scenery and charming towns such as Adare, Castle Connell, and Killmallock; with Adare being well known for its mediaeval churches and thatched cottages.  There are many things to see and enjoy in the county with Lough Gur Stone Age Centre and Curragchase Forest Park being excellent places to enjoy the countryside.

The city features ancient walls, a castle and museums. One of the best is the Hunt Museum as it features a wonderful collection of art by masters such as Picasso, Renoir, and Leonardo da Vinci.

The town of Adare dates back to the Norman Conquest and you’ll also find some picturesque ruins and fantastic stone buildings to go along with the churches and thatched cottages.

Another interesting town in County limerick is Foynes, as it is home to the Foynes Flying Boat Museum. The town of Glin is worth a visit as it is home to some lovely colour-washed buildings as well as a castle that’s filled with interesting furnishings from the 18th century. You should have an exciting time exploring County Limerick because of its wonderful history and culture.
