The summer time in New Zealand is beautiful and one of the most popular festivals is known as Blues, Brews and BBQs. The best thing about this event is that it’s held in three different locations on three different dates.

This year’s line up for the festival is Jan. 15th in Mt Maunganui, Jan. 22nd in Hastings, and Feb. 5th in Blenheim. The festivals are ideal for visitors and families who want to try out excellent beers that are brewed locally as well as listen to some fine blues music and taste barbecued delicacies.

The festivals celebrate everything unique about traditional summers in New Zealand, such as great music, outdoor cooking, and sharing a beer with friends.

You will be able to try a wide variety of local beers with different flavors and styles as well as cider, wine, and schnapps. The food is also excellent as it’s cooked by some of New Zealand’s top chefs. Some of the favorite dishes include Indian and Middle Eastern food, West coast Whitebait and ostrich.

The music has a strong blues influence and some of New Zealand’s top artists appear to entertain the energetic crowds. Some past performers include Winch Brothers, Hello Sailor, Midge Marsden, Darren Watson, and Bullfrog Rata.
