The seasons will soon be changing and that means summer will be heading to Australia pretty soon, making it a great time to visit.

If you can make it down there from Sept. 18 to the 28th 2010, you’ll be able to take in the Royal Melbourne Show at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

The show offers wonderful family entertainment as it features animals and livestock, arts and crafts, award-winning wine and food, carnival rides, live music and stage shows, fashion shows, and spectacular fireworks displays and lots more.

The annual Royal Melbourne Show is easily one of best-loved events in the city and the agricultural fair brings in visitors by the thousands each year. You’ll get to see some traditional events including sheep shearing displays, wood-chopping competitions, and livestock shows.

However, there’s a lot more to the show than just agriculture as all types of modern entertainment is showcased, making it a great event for families and people of all ages.

There’s a different theme to the carnival each day. For instance, you might find multi-cultural Tuesday and outback Wednesday.

While the event is filled with games, entertainment, food, drinks, and fun, one of the most popular features are the show bags, which are stuffed with memorabilia and other goodies from the event.
