If you’re in the mood for four days of top-class yacht racing along with five nights of rocking beachside parties, then the place to be is Rawai Beach on the island of Phuket, Thailand, from July 21st to 25th, 2010 for the Six Senses Phuket Raceweek.

The event will allow you to experience the thrill of ocean racing and take in a slew of interesting social functions and sailing events. Throughout the week, visitors will be able to soak in the excitement and buzz of a two-day sports boat event, a day of beach cat racing, and then the main event, the popular regatta.

The seventh annual Raceweek is also the opening leg of the Asian Yachting Grand Prix, which sees some of the best teams competing over the season in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines, and Thailand.

The racing takes place on the southeast tip of the beautiful island. The event features after-race parties every night where spectators and competitors can all unwind and live entertainment will also be featured.

The host hotel, the Evason Phuket and Six Senses Spa, is situated in 64 acres of wonderful tropical parklands, infinity pools, and gardens that offer spectacular views of the Andaman Sea.
