It can be an amazing sight when the fall comes and the leaves start changing colour from green to all sorts of shades of yellow, gold, red, orange, and brown. If you’d like to see this wonderful sight, these are some of the best places to visit in Canada.

1. Prince Edward Island

Between mid-September and late October, this province becomes a colourful paradise as the leaves transform in colour.

If you take the Central Coastal Drive you’ll be able to see picturesque beaches, cliffs, and the sea and sand as well as the beautiful fall foliage. The 150-mile route is a superb way to explore Prince Edward Island in the fall.

2. Rocky Mountains, Alberta

This is a great place to visit between late September till the end of October as this region of Alberta has several Canadian Rocky Mountains National Parks, including Jasper and Banff. The aspen and spruce trees feature some amazing yellow and gold shades.

3. Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia features the Cabot Trail, which is one of the most picturesque and interesting drives on the planet. However, it’s even more spectacular in the fall as the trees gradually change colour from green to vibrant mixtures of orange, red, and yellow leaves. The best time to make the trip is during early October.

4. Algonquin Park, Ontario

From the end of September till the end of October, this park comes alive in a kaleidoscope of colours as the pine and maple trees change into their fall coats. You can get a great view of the foliage when paddling down the water trails.

5. The Laurentian Mountains, Quebec

This region features birch trees to sugar maples and the colours are simply brilliant from the end of September to the end of October. The Mont Tremblant resort town and the nearby mountains are the best places to view them.
