Great ideas! Thanks for the tips :)

  2. Chris says:

Number 23 post, rude boi, had it right – Luton in England is the place to go. And when you are there stay in any hotel and visit the Arndale Centre. After that experience, anywhere, but anywhere, in the world is going to seem wonderful!
Seriously though, there are many “wonders” not listed. I think I would take the Italian Lakes or the mountain villages of Andalusia over Florida and Las Vegas. What about Krakow, Prague, Barcelona, Budapest…Paris, Amsterdam, etc etc.

Still, nobody is going to agree 100%. I have been to some of this list, and most are pretty good.

  3. Andy says:

Great sights on a great site! Still in love love with Thailand give it a mention.

  4. Hotel Guide says:

    Firstly thnaks a lot..
great travel destinations.. Golden Temple looks so mysterious..

  5. Mark H says:

A bit American but an excellent list. Go to Iguazu Falls rather than Niagara. Not sure Florida, Hawaii and Las Vegas outgun Florence, Prague and a safari in East Africa.

  6. Debo Hobo says:

I lived like 6 hours away from the Grand Canyon and of course never went. I wish I had now, that I am in another state.

They are the greatest of the world!!!

  8. Bob Sagetini says:

Vegas and Florida? Vegas is a great place to piss away money on hookers and coke. Florida sucks unless you’re an old jew, and thats because they suck too. Also, Frisco is way better than New York. New York is full of assholes.

  9. Ernesto Barroso says:

As Portuguese I would like to (off course) see someting beautifulk from my coubtry in this list.
I’m talking about GERES. Located on the north of Portugal this was the 1st protected area in the coutry.
There some old villages and places, reminding about life in the 19th century; lakes; mountains; and a lot (for the syze of our coubtry) of green everywhere.
A paradise for those who want to relax from the stress of living in big cities and, to enjoy life and nature as it is: simple and relaxed. Rural tourism is very interesting in therms of prices and if you have a car, you will enjoy spending a week in this beautiful region of Portugal. A little paradise I tell you…

  10. Dingleberry says:

    A little bit too American-centric.

    Florida but no London?
    Las Vegas but no Moscow?

Some good selections but would benefit from the Ameri-pandering.

  15. Nuno Lagoa says:

    Where is ISTANBUL!?!? LISBON!!! PORTO!!!
MADRID! LONDON! ST PPETERSBURG! The wonderful Orkney Islands off the north the coast of Scotland and Skye on the west coast? What about Morocco, the whole of it!
And Florence, Rome, Siena, Sicily, Sardega…
Soon you’ll need a lifetime to write about all the places worth visiting during our lifetime!!!

Rising from a depth of more than 600 meters from the bottom of the Celebes Sea, just a few miles from the coast of Sabah (45 minutes by speedboat in calm seas), Pulau Sipadan is just a small island, the top of a long-lost lava chimney from a prehistoric volcano: its topside covered by a lush and thick tropical forest and ringed by a sandy beach, its shallow surrounding coral reefs suddenly giving way to precipitous vertical drop-offs, falling down to the abyss below

Your list is good but without visit Mount Everest in Nepal no body can feel he/she is in heaven.

  26. Eric says:

    What about L’ile Maurice…or Mauritius!
Surely Mark Twain’s description as it being ‘heaven on earth’ must be evidence enough that this miniscule, stunningly beautiful island in the Indian Ocean, with its vast types of different scenery should find its way somewhere within the depths of your list?
