1. Seaworld, San Diego, USA
There are three different Seaworld locations, which are San Diego, Orlando, Florida, and San Antonio, Texas. All of them are excellent, but the aquarium in San Diego could be the best of the bunch as it’s one of the most famous oceanariums on the globe. The San Diego location features killer and beluga whales as well as a collection of polar bears, dolphins, walruses, and penguins.
2. Underwater World, Singapore
The Underwater World oceanarium is home to a good collection of eels, sharks, stingrays, and turtles. However, the most popular attraction is the Dolphin Lagoon. This offers visitors an excellent chance to view some Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins up close. You may also know them as pink dolphins.
3. Ocean Park, Hong Kong, China
Ocean Park in Hong Kong is more than an oceanarium. It’s basically a fully-fledged theme park with the whole works, such as rides and roller coasters. The park is also home to some cute and cuddlypanda bears. Another popular attraction is the Ocean Theatre, where the playful dolphins are showcased.
4. Marineland, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Niagara Falls’ Marineland houses the world’s biggest viewing tank for killer whales. It is the home to two orca whales and also has a collection of dolphins, beluga whales, walruses, and sea lions.
5. Zoomarine, Rome, Italy
Rome’s popular Zoomarine features a number of acrobatic and playful dolphins. It features daily shows, several species of birds, a waterpark, and swimming pools. There’s also a Zoomarine in the Algarve, Portugal.
6. Istanbul Dolphinarium, Istanbul, Turkey
This popular location became famous across the world when a video of one of its sea lions playing a saxophone was released on the internet. However, there’s a lot more to the dolphinarium as it’s home to numerous dolphins along with fur seals, and a lovable beluga whale.
7. Manila Ocean Park, Manila, Philippines
The most popular attraction at Ocean Park in Manila is its daily sea lion show. There’s also a long underwater tunnel that enables visitors to get a close up look at the site’s interesting variety of marine life.
8. Shedd Aquarium, Chicago, USA
The famous Shedd Aquarium is one of the world’s oldest as it was opened up back in 1930. It features a wide variety of marine life, such as otters, dolphins, sea lions, and beluga whales.
9. Lisbon Oceanarium, Lisbon, Portugal
The Lisbon Oceanarium is one of the world’s newest as it opened in 1998. It has a diverse collectionfish and mammals from across the world. Some of the most popular attractions are the stingrays, sharks, turtles, octopuses, crustaceans, and puffins.
