Miami is one of the United States’ best getaway destinations as it is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, on the southern tip of Florida and it offers nearly year round sun and fun.
This town has become the destination of choice for those wishing to spend a getaway break or long vacation at the beach and go out partying every night. This city does not sleep or take holidays in terms of entertainment and nightlife.
In Miami it is summer all year, so if you do not feel comfortable or are not accustomed to heat, it is advisable to go in the season of (relatively) cold temperatures, which would be from October to April.
Although this is the coldest, the weather is mild so you are always able to sunbathe on the beaches of Miami and swim in the ocean.
One thing to remember is that the tourist area is called Miami Beach Miami. It is recommended that tourists stay in this area which lined with hotels and shops to visit, and is the safest area of Miami.
In this area of Miami Beach is found the famous Art Deco District, which occupies a compact area of one and a half miles between Lincoln Road, Sixth Street, Ocean Drive and Alton Road. It is a window into the artistic movement of the twentieth century found in dozens of restored buildings.
There are several options when choosing a beach in Miami, but the most recommended are the Fisher Island, an exclusive beach where access is possible only by boat, the famous North Miami Beach, a beautiful seaside attraction which gives rise to the bars, shops and restaurants that surround it and make it a comfortable and entertaining place to spend the whole day.
Another beach that is considered characteristic of the city is South Beach, the beach called home for the bodybuilders, and sun-kissed models who permanently tan their bodies on the seafront.
