Spring is a season of blooms symbolic of fresh new beginnings. This is the time whenthe weather is neither too cool nor too warm and ideal for a break. Here are 5 places we recommend for your spring break this year.
1. New York City
Cherry blossoms usher the spring season to break the monotony of stark white in New York. This is the season for baseball fans and the Tribeca Film Festival. Stay at the Nomad Hotel at the Madison Square Park or the Conrad New York in downtown from where you can get the best views of Statue of Liberty on the Hudson River.
The beautiful grassland of Tuscany is the venue for the spring festival held here. Witness the country side sports such as cart explosions and crossbow competitions. Book your accommodation at the Villa Armena in the suburbs of Siena. If you have more time then explore the pastors of Tuscany through cycle rides or go for a customized cookery class. Wine tasting is another activity to indulge in.
Spring is the time of many festivals for this beach town. Ultra Music Festival, Miami wine &food festival and the Gay Pride festivities on the beach are just some of them. Get aboard the South Beach Local bus and take a quick tour of Art Deco Historic District.
4. Paso Robles
If visiting the vineyards of California is your way of taking an Easter break, then Paso Robles Wine Festival is the right place to be this year. Stay at Hotel Cheval, the boutique hotel and use the recently released interactive planner to sketch your wine tasting route map.
Spain’s most popular destination for a spring break is Mallorca. Spring is the time for festivities, fetes and parades. While on your visit to this medieval city, you can book your accommodation at Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa, which is located on the northwestern Mediterranean coast. If you like hiking then Serra de Tramuntana Mountains are a must visit.
