There are many things that holidays in Benidorm are famous for but one thing that people often overlook is the Blue Flag beaches.
Yes the idyll of lazing on soft sand under the warm Spanish sunshine is often at the forefront of holidaymakers’ daydreams when fantasizing about a holiday in Benidorm but some people aren’t aware that the resort has three Blue Flag beaches – guaranteeing an even better experience.
The three Blue Flag beaches in Benidorm are Llevant, Mal Pas and Ponent, all easily accessible fromthe centre.
This beach is made up of fine, soft sand that is perfect for lazing on or enjoying some sporty pastimes.
It is in walking distance from the center but for those keen to conserve all their energy for the beach, there is a bus service that takes you directly there.
This beach is a hub of sporting fun with numerous facilities available for those keen to get active. For many, it is the place to be with so many amenities nearby too and there is always a vibrant atmosphere to enjoy.
Mal Pas Beach
Not far from Llevant Beach is Mal Pas, which bares many similarities to the aforementioned beach. The sand is equally fine and the facilities will cater to a similar experience here.
This beach also provides access to a number of natural attractions such as Benidorm Island, Tacarca Island, Sierra Helada, Puig Campana, Peñon de Ifac.
With these natural attractions so close by, it might be that you find yourself exploring.
However, don’t worry about losing your spot as this beach is usually big enough to fit most visitors.
Finally, Ponent Beach, whilst also having fine sand like the other two is a little quieter, making a haven for those looking to kick back and relax whilst on holiday in Benidorm.
The atmosphere is chilled out and this is enhanced by a shaded park area that backs onto the beach.
Holidays to Benidorm wouldn’t be complete without a visit to these three Blue Flag beaches, each offering their own personality.
