Here are some of the highlights of Vietnam, places you should not miss if you are in the area.

First, when you need to make a phone call from outside Vietnam you should know the telephone code is 063.

One of the most captivating destinations in Central Vietnam is Dalat, also known as “the city of eternal spring”, situated about 300 km north of Ho Chi Minh. The weather there differs especially in altitude, so the higher you go, the cooler it will get. Generally, the average temperature is of about 18 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Dalat offers its tourists some 20 hotels and many possibilities of spending free time: from cycling to trekking, mountain climbing and even rappelling in the high surroundings. Xuan Huong lake, Lake of Sorrow (of Sighs) and Bao Dai Summer Palace are three places you definitely have to see while you are there.

Also, you can play golf at the oldest course in Vietnam, you can use double-bicycles to get to the markets, ride a horse in one of the nearby parks, spend some time near the waterfalls or enjoy a perfect picnic in the Love Valley, the most romantic place in Vietnam.

You can get to Dalat by plane (from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh) or by car/bus (it is a tourist route so you will always find a means of transportation to take you there).
