Bermuda is one of the world’s most famous and popular islands with travelers as it offers a wide variety of activities and sights. There is definitely plenty to see and do in this historic country.

However, many people mistake the island as being a Caribbean country, when in fact it’s north of the Caribbean and located off of the east coast of America.

Thousands of people enjoy the wonderful beaches and everything the crystal-clear Bermudan waters have to offer. This includes swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Many other visitors flock to the island paradise to play golf and stay in one of the luxurious resorts.

However, there are many other things to see such as famous cave formations as well as the historic towns of Hamilton, Southampton and St. George. The houses are colorfully painted and there are plenty of accommodations to meet all budgets.

Getting around the island is easy to do by ferry and an excellent bus service. These will enable you to visit the wonderful shopping areas and to taste the local seafood as well as the famous rum drinks of Bermuda.

Many of the buildings are very historical as the area was a well known pirate destination and route in the past.

While Bermuda may be one of the world’s smallest countries, it’s definitely one of the biggest and best sites to visit on the planet.
