1. Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL), Atlanta, Georgia
Over 90 million people travel through this southern airport each year. In fact, it’s so busy that it’s regarded as the busiest passenger airport in the world. There are plenty of things to do here to pass the time as you’ll find a piano bar, an art collection, and some excellent dining choices. You can also rent out a private room by the hour if you’d like to relax, work or watch television.
2. O’Hare (ORD), Chicago, Illinois
You might sometimes find yourself with a lot of time on your hands at Chicago’s O’Hare airport in thewinter time when sudden storms often bring air traffic to a halt. If you need to kill some time then you can take the kids to the play area known as Kids on the Fly, where they can play pilot. This famous airport has a total of nine terminals. If you have some time in your hands then you might want to head to the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
