There are so many excellent beaches down under in the superb country of Australia that it makes it quite hard to narrow the best ones down to just a few. These are five more of the nation’s top beaches for lovers of the sun, sand, watersports and spectacular Oceanside views.

This beach offers a fantastic landscape which features colorful pink granite mountains that rise out from the sea. This popular Tasmanian beach is very popular for fishing, boating, sunbathing and rock climbing.

3. Bondi Beach

This could very well be the most well known of all the Australian beaches. It’s located in the greater Sydney area and is known as the place to be seen. The beach is made up of miles of pristine sand and famous surfing waves. The area is filled with gelato shops and outdoor cafes with an excellent view of all the action.

4. Kangaroo Island

This is quite a large beach area as the coast stretches for close to 100 miles. The native residents still rely on the area for fishing and farming as their way to make a living. The island is quite diverse as it offers the fantastic beaches, some interesting wildlife and top-class restaurants.

5. Whitehaven Beach

This must-see beach is situated in the Whitsundays. It has fabulous soft, white sand along with clear, aqua waters. It’s everything that a great beach should be. The sand stretches for close to five miles on picturesque Whitsunday Island and well known as a fabulous place to escape and relax with some excellent views.
