There are some destinations around the world that are basically impossible to explore in just one visit. To get the most out of these sites, many travellers visit them more than just once. These are some of the locations that usually need at least two visits to fully explore all they have to offer.
1. Barcelona, Spain

Ever since the 1992 Summer Olympics, this fantastic Spanish city has been one of the top tourist locations in the world. It offers exceptional history, architecture, wine, food, and beaches. It’s definitely a world class city that continues to amaze no matter how many times you visit.

There are many nicknames associated with New York, such as the City That Never Sleeps and the Big Apple. It’s impossible to explore the historic streets and discover all that it has to offer in just one visit. It’s filled with amazing museums, restaurants, sports and entertainment venues and world-class shopping. Ney York’s never boring as there are so many hidden gems in the city as well as major tourist attractions.
3. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rio de Janeiro is known as one of the world’s greatest party cities. There are sensational carnival celebrations and parades held each year. The famous Copacabana Beach is also a great place to soak up the sun and the atmosphere. There’s also a huge rainforest to explore close to town as well as the Christ the Redeemer statue. Brazil will also be hosting the World Cup of Soccer in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016.

This hotspot is quickly becoming a popular site with travellers. People keep returning because of all the luxuries it has to offer. You’ll find a man-made island here as well as the planet’s tallest building. The location provides some of the finest experiences; food and shopping you’ll find anywhere.
5. San Francisco, California, USA

The West coast city of San Francisco has a wide variety of experiences for visitors to enjoy. You’ll find some fantastic outside attractions such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz as well as Fisherman’s Wharf. The Aquarium by the Bay is another popular site and the views along the coast are magnificent.
6. London, England

There’s plenty to see and do in historical London and it’s doubtful you’ll get to enjoy it all in just one go. The number of attractions is endless as the city is filled with historical sites, museums, shops, theaters, and sports venues. Some of the most popular include the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and the Tower of London.
7. Tokyo, Japan

The terrific city of Tokyo is one of the tops in the world when it comes to shopping, food, fashion, markets, and technology. The bustling city lights up the night sky like a giant Christmas tree with its colourful billboard and neon lights. It’s an ideal destination to explore more than just once.

The country/continent of Australia is so large and diverse that you’d have to spend quite a bit of time there to explore it all. The natural beauty, wildlife, and landscapes are breathtaking, such as the Outback and Great Barrier Reef. The cities are also a sight to behold including Sydney and Melbourne.
