The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is one of the most attractive in the USA as it’s a pleasure to visit both visually and culturally. The city’s core, which has a population of just over 300,000 people, is well known for its beauty, culture, and history.
There are three rivers that flow through the city centre, the Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela, and these offer some wonderful scenery, not to mention the attractive bridges that have been built throughout the downtown area.
The natural attractions and rivers offer an ideal setting for numerous outdoor activities.
The Pittsburgh Parks System offers over 10 parks to enjoy as well as a number of trails for hiking and other recreational purposes.
The architecture throughout the city is also a big drawing point as there are some excellent examples of buildings that were designed by structural luminaries such as Philip Johnson and Frank Lloyd Wright.
Another great place to spend a few hours is the Andy Warhol Museum, which is dedicated to work and life of the famous American figure. In fact, it’s the largest museum on the world that’s dedicated to a single artist.
Pittsburgh offers some wonderful hotels and restaurants that fit into all price ranges. For sports lovers, the city is home to major-league professional Hockey, Football, and Baseball Franchises.
The city of Pittsburgh mixes small-town charm well with big-city excitement.
